Earth Music Series: Baluji Shrivastav OBE
A special performance by virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Baluji Shrivastav OBE accompanied by Nafees Irfan on tablas. The concert opens with a song by Linda Shanovitch, accompanied by the dilruba, and features Moon-inspired ragas on sitar.

Firmly established in the Hindustani classical tradition, Baluji delights in exploring music in all forms and composes for film, dance, theatre, Western orchestra and Indian ensembles. Releasing music with ARC/Naxos Music, he has had many successful tours and has worked with a wide number of renowned artists including Stevie Wonder, Massive Attack, and Noel Gallagher, and has his own Jazz ensemble Jazz Orient/Re-Orient.
Baluji is a tireless ambassador for visually impaired musicians and was awarded the OBE for services to music and as founder of Inner Vision Orchestra in 2016.
